Hello all, my name Is Ian, and this is my story. It all started when I was about 5 years old, the day my father left home and never came back. I don't remember much from that day, all I can remember is walking down stairs in my pajama's to see a man standing in front of the door holding a briefcase. Holding what I assume now to be everything he'd take with him, I can't even remember what he looked like, or what he might have said at that point. I just know we both stood there for what felt like forever before he finally turned around and walked out the door, and that was the last time I ever saw the man known as my father. Now normally this on it's own would have been bad enough, a young child watching a parent leaving them and never returning can cause all manner of issues on its own.
